A growing business in a competitive market, after 15 years, Wickes felt it was time to update their store colleagues' uniforms, which were looking tired and dated.

Introduction

Service to customers is paramount in every Wickes store. Creating a uniform with a great fit, that truly represented the iconic Wickes brand was the key focus for the new uniform. With 7,000 wearers, the challenge to meet the tight deadlines was on!

The Solution

Comfort and fit were of paramount importance. With the introduction of a new ladies uniform, Murray undertook wearer trials with store colleagues to ensure the uniform was fit for purpose. The garments were trialled in six stores, then rolled out across the remaining stores.

The Result

Each uniform packed for the individual. Gilet, shirt, short and long-sleeved pols and long sleeved jacket in both men’s and ladies sizes. With previous orders by fax, extensive time was saved with the introduction of the new Murray online customer portal. Recycled old uniform (4 tons), supported their SCR commitments.
