In his day job Richard works with Microsoft's customers giving them clarity and confidence about their digital journeys, helping them turn their aspirations into transformational business results.
He is a renowned keynote speaker and event facilitator with an energising and engaging style. He lives in the UK but travels extensively, shamelessly collecting and telling stories everywhere he goes.
After a troubled childhood, he left home at 15 to live on the streets and became involved in crime which led to a prison sentence.
At the age of 21 he enlisted into the Army and over the following 17 years, he did several tours in Northern Ireland and served in the Falklands campaign.
He then ran The Bath and Racquets Club in Mayfair as the General Manager. From there he went on to run Champney’s Health Club in Piccadilly.
In 1994, after being an Atheist for almost 38 years, he attended an Alpha course and became a Christian. Following a volunteered prison visit, Paul became passionate about caring for people both inside prison and on their release.
In 1996 he successfully pioneered the Alpha course within the UK and International prison systems, with the Armed Forces following almost a decade later.
In 2002, after completing a degree in theology, he was ordained a Priest into the Church of England and a few years later, founded the charity ‘Caring for Ex-Offenders’ (CFEO), which has helped over 2000 men and women reintegrate back into society.
In 2012 he founded the William Wilberforce Trust and in 2014 Paul received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Lord Longford Trust for his work in prisons, with his MBE following two years later for ‘Services to Ex-Offenders’.
Paul is now the Director of Rehabilitation for Iceland foods, one of the leading food retailers in the UK. Having experienced strong support and positive response from Iceland colleagues, his role is to help get those coming out of prison employment and restoration.

I have been part of the Nestle Supply Chain team for 15 years, including roles across Logistics, Demand and Supply Planning, Procurement and Supply Chain Management. My real passion is developing others and building teams – breaking down silos, galvanising people and working to remove barriers to people working effectively together. This has been super important to me in my career because in Supply Chain we are just that, a chain of interconnected teams where collaboration is critical. My current role as Nestle Supply Chain Connectivity Manager has given me the opportunity to play to my strength and passion to analyse and understand the barriers we have to great collaboration across the breadth of our Supply Chain and to develop and implement initiatives to embed a culture of high trust teams and value adding connectivity in pursuit of our business ambitions. I love helping people to develop positive relationships and find meaning and fulfilment in work.
