In line with its rapid growth strategy, Southern Co-op needed to make a step-change with its uniform supply and management programme.

Introduction

with 4000 to 5000 staff spread across more than 210 sites, Southern Co-op identified that they had a number of staff without uniforms and even garments with inconsistent sizing.

With a high volume of staff, they needed a partner with a world class design service that could offer a fully managed service.

The Solution

Murray worked with Southern Co-op to understand the challenges they faced and built a programme that met their needs. The programme included key elements of the Murray process methodology; sourcing, selection and testing, QC and production, stock management and distribution, online ordering and budgetary control.

The Result

Murray designed and delivered bespoke workwear solutions comprising a polo shirt, long and short sleeved shirts, trousers, soft shell jacket, fleece and accessories. the garments were trialled by staff prior to rollout ensuring they fit properly and were comfortable to wear.
